find Superman. he can't see through lead. you may have to feed him, depending on how far he has to fly. just common courtesy

Lead is usually only used in fine crystal. This is done to give the crystal a shinier look to it and a more sparkling sheen. Even led crystal won't present any harm to humans as long as the contents of the glass are consumed in one sitting. Cheaper glasses should almost certainly be lead free.
